Update for Google+ for Android brings Auto-Awesome Notifications
The latest update of the Android Google+ app has brought some notification goodness with it. In version 4.1.1 of the app, it’ll inform you as to whether or not an uploaded picture has been processed using one of the “Auto” filters.
At the developer conference in May, Google showcased some extensive editing features for photos that would be rolled out, giving you the power of a veritable “digital darkroom” on your device. The newly released update for Google+ now tells you via notification when your photos have been provided with the “Auto Awesome” effect, which optimizes your photos automatically without a need for user intervention.
In addition, the update fixes the usual bug and provides some performance optimizations. As with everything Google, it will begin rolling out in waves and if you’re the impatient type, you can download the APK file below.
